New! Alice and Olivia

New in store this week at Oxygen! These capsule pieces from Alice and Olivia are all you need for a weekend away with a loved one. If you are hopping over to France for a long weekend then the Leila tank or chain top look super with a pair of skinnies. For the evening, the prom dress adds instant siren glamour. For the ultimate-sophisticated night (on a yacht we think!) then opt for this LWD.

Head Wear

Peaches Geldof is back in the UK to hit up on the summer parties. Our attention naturally gravitates towards her fashion…the ladies at Oxygen love her little head piece. House of Harlow have a very pretty and similar version for £159. If you want a quick accessory fix then head jewellery is the way forward. Chic, stylish and the hairband adds a little sparkle to perk up any outfit.

The Serpentine Factor

The Serpentine Gallery in London holds an annual summer party where guests dress in their finest attire whilst mingling with the scene’s hottest crowd. Last year saw the likes of Sophie Dahl, Erin O’Connor and Pharrell Williams. Whilst the ladies pictured here looked absolutely stunning…we are not so sure on Pharrell’s over the jean boot look. Still he is a super fine man to look and listen too so we won’t complain too much!

The event is to be held on the 8th July so look out for the fashion pages the following day as I am sure they will be full of stunning frocks. If you are lucky enough to be a part of this prestigious event, here is the Oxygen outfit to get papped in. Either frock from Doo.Ri or Brian Reyes will do with the Jerome shoes and CC Skye bracelet will certainly turn heads!

Open Air

This is the season to go alfresco and nothing encapsulates the British Summer time than an Open Air Theatre. Sitting pretty in Regent’s Park, the typical combination of Shakespeare, comedy and musicals fill the surrounding evenings with culture and excellent standards. For those who love a DIY picnic, be prepared to fight for some blanket space. However if that is a step too far for others then fine grub is available at the refurbished Garden Cafe.

The Open Air Theatre’s typical season runs from June to September but can sell out fast so aim to book well ahead and be sure and take an extra layer to fight chills, this Alice and Olivia wrap around is ideal. Pimm’s anyone?

Music to My Ears by stylist Holly Chaves

It might not seem like summer is one its way, but it sure is. It’s getting to that part of the year when we start to think about festival outfits, I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m bored of the uniform Barbour wax jacket and hunter wellies combo. However, both are a necessity due to the unpredictable British summers.

Style it up a bit with a embellished waistcoat or little jacket like Daisy Lowe at Cochella this year. Daisy is famed for her festival style, and a trophy jacket like this is a easy way to look quirky and on trend. This Rory Beca Allan waistcoat would look great over a basic tee and denim cut offs.

Take sixties inspiration from BBC one extra’s Gemma Cairney in this off white crochet dress. The combination of the dress and the tights makes sure that Gemma stands out from the crowd. This crochet dress by Sea NY does the job perfectly. Try this with sheer tights and eye-catching jewellery.

Now for a festival necessity – The cropped Tee is a great festival staple, and it brilliant for layering when it turns a bit chilly. This LNA option is great and sticks to the pastel trend of SS10.

Sun shades!

Now the summer is officially in full swing, the Oxygen girls are preparing their summer wardrobes. We couldn’t help but notice the hottest artists and presenters wearing super shades at Radio 1′s Big Weekend. Our favourites have to be Florence Welch’s John Lennon styled sunnies. Whether you prefer a vintage over size shape, aviator or full circle style we think teamed with a pretty summer frock and a Eugenia Kim hat is the only way to embrace the sun’s rays. Here are our top picks from Oxygen’s new styles available online and instore now!

Katy and Cheryl love Oxygen!

Well look what we have here! Both Cheryl Cole AND Katy Perry have been seen sporting stunning garms from Oxygen. Cheryl is pictured here wearing an Alice and Olivia romper (£245) in Cannes and Katy Perry is wearing a Gryphon tie dye dress, due to drop in store at any moment! Our advice? Wear Cheryl’s Alice and Olivia romper with some leather sandals and away you go. Hot to trot, right?

Romantics

With summer in the air, release your inner romantic side.  The A listers have ditched their heavy knits and opted for the seasons prettiest trend.  Ruffles, silks and a nude colour palette offer an alternative to bright Aztec and animal prints that we seem to be wearing a lot at Oxygen!  Sienna Miller, Olivia Palermo, and Sarah Jessica Parker have all been seen recently wearing this trend to a t.  From beautiful ball gowns (a la Sarah Jessica) to playful playsuits as seen on Sienna, there is a romantic side we can all embrace. Here are our top pics from Oxygen’s Summer collection.
