Introducing Vena Cava and Viva Vena

Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai are originally from South Pasadena and Los Angeles, respectively. They both moved to New York in 1999 to attend Parsons School of design. In 2003, three weeks after graduation the pair began making the first Vena Cava collection on their living room floor.

The Viva Vena garments consists of classic staples with interesting concepts from the Breton and Data aztec inspired prints to layered sweater and Paper knife dress. All are smart for the working winter wardrobe and casual enough for the weekends.

The Vena Cava collections combines beautiful graphic printed dresses such as the Fellowship and the Olefin. Stunning and eye catching, these are ideal for a special winter occasion. The Inverness top and sinew blouse will look gorgeous when thrown over a pair of skinny pants. The Viva Vena and Vena Cava collections are available to buy instore and online now. Prices start from £110.
