Email Templates

When you get to the stage '3.Format' chose to use the spongecell composer to access the templates I have set up for you.

In the top left corner of the grey edit area is a drop down menu to chose the template. I have set up various templates for you.

Under User You will see templates listed.

** 'Sale, General, general 2, general 3' are all empty ones - Ignore these

Online Now - The emailer for alerting people your site is up.

Oxygen General - Ideal for quick messages - A general email template with a text area marked for you to edit.

Oxygen Sale 25%, 50%, 75% - Templates for Sale set up.

Make your banner with your sale products

upload using image manager into the 'email' folder.

Get the full URL of the image by clicking on the thumb and then copying the address for the full image.

Then come back to the Email edit screen, and click on the 'edit' tab for the section conating the sale products banner. You will see code that looks like the following.

You just need to paste the URL for your sale banner image where i have marked in red above... then press submit. Give it a couple of seconds and it will update the preview for you.

TEST IT

Before sending out to everyone you can chose in the composer to send a test mail to yourself. This will by default send it to the email that is used for the log-in to spongecell. If you want a different email/s to receieve the tester you need to hand pick them in the earlier step '2.Contacts'
