Good Things Come To Those Who Sweat

Ahh home workouts. A blessing and a curse. Convenient? Yes. But, therefore unavoidable too. No more ‘I don’t have time to get to that gym class’ or ‘Wow that membership is overpriced’. At-home fitness is back to where it was when Jane Fonda’s VHS tape was first released in 1982 - we’re all staring into a screen to get in our squats (just this time it’s a little smaller than the fat-backed TVs in the living room).

At-home workouts have saved the mental and physical health of many of us who have been succumbed to staying indoors for months on end. Particularly during lockdown 2.0 and 3.0, where winter temperatures have made the idea of outdoor workouts very off-putting. Many will choose not to return to gyms when they do eventually re-open. Working out at home guarantees affordability, flexibility, privacy and ultimate cleanliness. The only aspect usually tying us to the gym are the equipment.

That’s why Bala was founded.

The founders wanted to establish a fitness accessory that provided resistance for every workout so that you can truly get the results you want from the comfort of your home.

‘At Bala, we believe beautiful, functional fitness accessories will change the way people move. That design alone can inspire movement. And genuine product innovation is long overdue.

Because we understand that your life includes exercise but is not exclusively defined by it. After all, there’s more than one way to break a sweat and limitless ways to use Bala’

The gorgeous assortment of colours also just made working out just that much more fun and fabulous!
