The UK’s Best Winter Wonderlands

Dare we say the word… Christmas! It is only a stone’s throw away. What better way to get yourself in the Christmas spirit than to visit a Winter Wonderland here in the UK. Here are our top 3 festive favourites.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderwall

Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland had no trouble making our list. They have an extensive range of festive attractions and activities for all the family. For the adults, Bar Ice offers a seriously ‘cool’ experience, while the Bavarian Village is the home of live music and great beer gardens. There is plenty to do for the little ones too, including the Snowman Experience and Teletubbies Christmas Show to name a few. Whether you want to sculpt ice or skate on it, there is everything here at Hyde Park; not forgetting Santa Land, the Christmas Markets and over 100 rides to enjoy.
Opening details: Opens 22nd November 2018 at 4pm. Runs from 23rd November 2018 to 6th January 2019 10am till 10pm.
Centre Parcs

If you haven’t heard of Centre Parcs, you’re probably missing out. They consist of a collection of forest resorts all around the UK and provide ultimate relaxation and escapism. Centre Parcs’ Villas are immersed in nature and within walking distance of great shops, restaurants and activities. Although an absolute treat any time of the year, the magic is dialled up to eleven for their Winter Wonderland. From Elf Academy to the Woodland Workshop, your little ones can take part in plenty of festive activities and even meet the big man himself (and his reindeer). Centre Parcs breaks create great opportunities to spend quality time with your family and offer a range of group activities including wreath making, pottery and cupcake decorating. Or you could enjoy a Christmas carriage ride together. Centre Parcs will ensure this Christmas will be a special one.

SnowDome

In its 14th year, the SnowDome presents Santa’s Winter Wonderland. Packed with snow-filled fun, you can get a real taste for what it’s like in the North Pole. The kids can join in Santa’s Christmas Snow Trail, where they can play and slide in real snow. The promenade walkway is perfect for those family members who think playing snowballs and sledge riding is definitely a spectator sport. The Santa Show tells a festive stage story for everyone to enjoy, and you can’t leave without feeding the reindeer, admiring the huge Christmas tree and, of course, posting a letter to Santa.
