Coconut oil has a strong fanbase and we are included in that. Grab a jar, cover yourself in it and join the party.
Coconut oil is pretty self-explanatory. It’s an edible oil that has been extracted from the flesh of a coconut. It can be used in cooking/baking, but the miracles really happen when you apply it to your skin.
It is a skincare saviour. Honestly, it works for everything. Dry lips? Coconut oil. Need to shave your legs? Coconut oil. Make up needs removing? Coconut oil. Owning a jar is the ultimate beauty hack. I have even heard of people using it as deodorant, the possibilities are endless.
The fusion of supreme skin loving qualities is what gives it the edge. It’s anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antioxidant and super moisturising, you’re welcome skin. Not only does it fight bacteria, nourish and soften, it smells gorgeous too. And its natural – which your skin will hold in high regard.
As sugar scrubs are all the rage at the moment in the world of skincare, here is natural coconut lime sugar scrub you can make yourself at home for skin like silk. Perfect for those girls’ nights in.
Tip: Remove the coconut oil with warm water after use.

3.Store in an airtight glass jar.
Coconut oil is also perfect for those suffering from dry hands. As an ex-hairdresser, this is something I am far too familiar with. Scoop out a little and apply all over your hands to soothe and moisturise. You can do the same on your feet too, just in time for summer (hello sandal season!).
We will forever be fan girls to this beauty gift from Mother Nature. Let’s conquer the world with coconut oil by our sides.
