For the last 11 years, Antonia has worked as a paediatric nurse. She often came home with sore, cracked and bleeding hands as a result of the constant hand washing needed to keep her patients infection free. In fact, in 2011 this became so bad that she was forced to take a week off work.  After suffering so much discomfort and learning that this problem affects nearly all nurses, she teamed up with her husband Jonny and started working on a hand cream formula that was effective, natural, free from nasty chemicals and something nurses could use repeatedly throughout a busy shift. Over the last 7 years they have been working with a group of British nurses, laboratories and Newcastle Science City to create a range of naturally protective skincare formulas for all hard working hands.
