The Food-Grown® Folic Acid provides 400mcg of Folic Acid in a natural folate form. Required during pre-conception and pregnancy for healthy cell division, folate is also needed for the normal function of the immune system, blood formation, homocysteine metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Methylated forms of folate acid are easier to convert by those who have concerns about MTHFR and methylation (cellular detoxification). Folate is also essential for healthy homocysteine levels, psychological wellbeing, the ageing brain, cardiovascular health and fertility.
