Aloe vera, allantoin, and kaolin extract in the face cleanser will help make the skin soft and protect it from environmental damage day after day. Can I use the product while pregnant or breastfeeding?

There are no restrictions in the European Regulation (EU 1223 2009) about Vitamin A for pregnant women, and it is safe. However, toxicologists do not recommend using skincare with Vitamin A  for this type of population, so in the end, it’s always a person’s personal choice. So there are beauty enthusiasts who use it, and others who prefer not to. We always suggest checking with your doctor that knows your case best.

Can I use the cleanser for face twice a day?

Yes, you can use a face cleanser according to your skin needs. We recommend using it no more than twice a day, to not strip off your skin from its essential/natural oils.

How many times per day can I use the Advanced Renewal Face Cream?

We recommend using it twice a day, in the mornings and the evenings. However, you can apply the face cream for dry skin even more often, according to your skin needs. Always listen to your skin for the best results.

Why is my skin purging?

Skin purging is a reaction to an active ingredient that is increasing cell turnover rate. It is common when you start using new products as the dirt, oils, sebum, and any hidden “imperfections” in your skin emerge to its surface and cause breakouts. 

The products that are more likely to cause skin purging are retinoids, AHAs, and acne treatments. The treatment that is causing your skin purging is the same treatment that will solve your skin concerns, so let the treatment run its course.

My skin is tingling and a bit red after using 10% Glycolic Acid Resurfacing Serum, is it normal?

Glycolic acid at high % can make your skin feel tingly and slightly irritated/red for a few minutes after application. This is completely normal; it in fact means that the ingredient has started to work. Slight tingling, stinging, or redness is normal when using AHA (glycolic acid), and you may feel this the first few times until your skin gets used to this ingredient. However, what we suggest, when starting with this active ingredient, is to always make a patch test before applying to your entire face. If you never used high % glycolic acid skincare, start applying a small amount of the glycolic acid product in the evening on a small area of your forehead (where your skin is thickest). Avoid your eyes and lips area. Use only in the evening once or twice a week. If you experience long lasting harsh irritation within 24 hrs (redness, flakiness), your skin might be too sensitive for AHA concentrated products. Instead try products that contain less glycolic acid like for example the “Deep Exfoliating Cleanser”.
